Trinity United Reformed and Methodist Church         God's promises

We say God says.
It's impossible. "What is impossible for mortals is possible for God." (Luke 18:27)
I'm too tired. "Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." I will give you rest. (Matt.11:28-30)
Nobody really loves me. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. (John 3:16)
I can't figure things out. I will direct your steps. (Prov.20:24)
I can't do it. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13)
It's not worth it. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. (Rom. 8:28)
I'm always worried and  frustrated. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him, he cares for you. Cast all your care upon me. (1 Pet.5:6-7)
I can't forgive myself. I forgive you. (1 John 1:9, Rom. 8:1)
I'm not smart enough. I give you wisdom. (1 Cor. 1:30)
I can't manage. I will supply all you need. (Phil. 4:19)
I'm afraid. I give you a spirit of power. (2 Tim. 1:7)
I feel so alone.

I'll never leave you. (Heb. 13:5)
