The Nagajuna Orphanage in Nepal

The Worship Committee kindly agreed that the Christmas collections should go to the orphanage and thanks to everyone’s generosity £752 was raised at the Gift Services and £274 at the Christingle.   Together with the sum raised at the October Coffee Morning it will be possible to send the orphanage of donation of £1,377.    (Thank you to our Treasurer, for calculating the Gift Aid on these donations - an extra 25% when the section on the reverse of the gift envelopes has been completed.)

This sum will go a very long way in Nepal and be a tremendous support as they build their very own new School on the plot of land purchased last year.   Progress is fairly slow but they are now up to the first floor.
